Item Description
1 Switch on / off a pair If the pair is switched off, its data are updated, but the orders will not be sent after clicking a button “Send orders”.
2 Button for display / hide of extended settings.
3 Pair heading = symbols of stocks that are included in the pair Colour of the text indicates status of the given symbol:
  • Grey = data are not up-to-date
  • Orange = data were requested from TWS, download ongoing
  • Green = data are uploaded
4 Bid of Stock A, or B
5 Ask of Stock A, or B
6 Position of stock A, or B. Positive value means Long position, negative value means Short position.
7 Pair position. The text consists of a letter signaling position (L=Long, S=Short) and a number corresponding to the number of business days the position is opened for.
If the position is opened, the font is black. Otherwise the font colour is gray.

Note: Day, when the position was opened, has an index 0.

8 Profit/loss of the Stock A or Stock B
9 Profit/Loss for the pair
10 Actual value of relative deviation
11a Capital allocated for one stock in the pair Based on the entered value orders to enter a position will be generated.
Number of Stock A = Capital / Price of Stock A; Number of Stock B = Capital / Price of Stock B

Note: Value defines a capital allocated for one stock! After entering the position, the trader controls overall position equal to double the value of capital!

11b Switch for method of capital entry. Capital can be entered as:
  • Abs - Absolute value of capital allocated for one stock of the pair (in USD). If the box “Abs” is ticked, the capital per pair is allocated not taking into account the outstanding balance at the user’s account.
  • Rel - Relative part of total account value (in percentage). If the box “Rel” is ticked, the capital is re-calculated as a specified percentage of current business account value prior to each issue of an order. This option enables automatic application of Position-sizing with full re-investment of capital.

13 Pair settings. If you require to change pair settings, you must export the portfolio from Builder!
14 Settings of a time interval for entering the position. Within such time interval the program will send potential orders to enter the position.

Time of beginning and end of the interval must be entered in compliance with a selected time zone (see paragraph 16).

15 Settings of time interval for entering the position. Within this time interval the program will send potential orders to exit the position.

Time of beginning and end of the interval must be entered in compliance with a selected time zone (see paragraph 16).

16 Settings of the time zone, in which the orders for entry / exit the positions are entered (see paragraphs 14, 15).

It is strongly recommended to set the time zone as per the stock market (ie. "New York (Eastern Standard Time)" for NYSE. This will help you to avoid any issues in a period of time, when the individual countries are switching between winter and summer time and vice versa.
